THE WARRANTY DETAILS - FREEG0 2022 | Personal Scooters & E-bikes
This warranty covers defects in material and workmanship of the product arising or occurring as a result of normal and ordinary use of the product. The limited warranty of the scooters is effective for 24 months (see more details in following ""Warranty Coverage"") and takes effect when the scooters leave from the factory. As a manufacturer located in China, Freego only offer 24-month online technical support and Parts Replacement Service. Buyers need to repair the products on their own cost. Freego can offer free training service in warranty period.

If the buyer wishes to replace a part, he must contact Freego staff first to obtain Return Parts Approval and then send the defective part to Freego factory in China for testing. If said parts are found within 2 months of receiving the product, the buyer must pay his own shipping cost to China and Freego will repair or change the parts and send it back to the buyer at Freego’s cost for repair and shipping. If the buyer decides to send Freego the faulty parts 2 months after receiving the product, the buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and taxes attributed. Once the Warranty expires, the buyer is responsible for all expenses in purchasing new parts, repairs, and paying full shipping costs.
I. Electrical damage caused by improper use of the battery such as using an unapproved charger; Battery is long time left uncharged, or plugging the power cable in the wrong way is not covered. Please charge battery responsibly and regularly(at least one time per month). If your battery can not be charged because you keep it uncharged more than 1 month, the battery may enter into deep sleeping mode that can not work again. You have to buy new battery with your own cost.
II. Water damage caused by improper use in snow, wet or flooded conditions is not covered. Our products are rain resistant, not waterproof. Please use with care!
III. Damage caused by accidents, disasters, or improper use such as racing or jumping or overweight is not covered.
IV. Damage caused by not following the User’s Manual or not following proper maintenance procedures is not covered.
V. The warranty does not cover any damage or missing parcels caused by courier services. Once our products leave the factory, we have absolutely no control over them. Our price is Ex Work/FOB Shenzhen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incoterms#EX_Works). BUT we are willing to assist the buyer in getting compensation from the courier service. We suggest the buyer to contact the shipping carrier first for the proof of any missing or broken items.This proof is the key to get any compenstation.
The opening, disassembly or modification of the scooter with non-licensed or non-original parts or by a non-licensed person will invalidate the warranty. This Warranty standard is the only one proof for reclaim. If you buy from Freego, it means you agree with our terms.
